Construction of Jardinia is officially under way after a special sod-turning event attended by future residents and our project partners.
This exciting milestone included the announcement of highly experienced builder 5Point as our construction partner on this rare new residential development for one of Brisbane’s most sought-after suburbs.
The sod-turning was followed by a public Open Day event at the Jardinia sales display, showcasing the project’s modern apartment fixtures and finishes.
John Pradella, Development Director of Pradella Property, shared some of the Pradella family’s rich history in South East Queensland’s property industry and their vision for Jardinia, emphasising Yeronga’s strong connection to greenery, parks, and sporting facilities.
“The vision for Jardinia is to complement Yeronga’s leafy character while offering a modern, elevated living experience,” John said.
“The suburb of Yeronga underpins both the site and design. It’s a green suburb close to Brisbane’s heart, with parks, football fields, shopping centres, a golf club, and the Brisbane tennis centre. Plus, with easy access to the city via the nearby bus and train stations, it’s the ideal location for this development.”
Incorporating a green facade, along with timber cladding and brick elements, the design reflects Yeronga’s much-loved suburban charm.
“We’ve worked closely with award-winning Wiltshire Stevens Architects and Aspect Studios to create something truly unique,” John said.
Damian Dove, Managing Director of 5Point Projects, discussed the partnership between his team and Pradella Property, highlighting their shared values.
“This project is all about collaboration,” Damian said. “We’re passionate about delivering what’s been promised in the renders – exceptional quality with a strong partnership alongside Pradella.”
David Mernagh, who purchased a 3-bedroom apartment with a north-facing courtyard, expressed his excitement about making Jardinia his new home.
“I’ve been living in Brisbane for 18 years and jumped at the chance to buy in Yeronga, especially with its green spaces and emerging amenities,” David said.
“It’s a lifestyle choice – my daughter plays AFL at the local club, and the area’s accessibility is perfect for us.
“The contemporary design, especially the rooftop with its Spanish-style influence, really stood out to me. Other developments feel stock-standard, but this one has a distinct boutique quality.”
For first-home buyer Christopher Tsai, Jardinia’s convenient location and impressive amenities were the major drawcards.
“I bought a one-bedroom apartment and plan to take advantage of the Queensland First Home Owner Grant,” he said. “The location, close to public transport, was a big factor for me, and I’m really looking forward to using the rooftop and pizza oven.”
Future residents will enjoy exclusive access to a range of amenities, including a pool, spa, gym, herb garden, BBQ facilities, and bookable dining and meeting rooms. The rooftop oasis, inspired by southern Spain’s riad gardens, will offer panoramic views of Yeronga Memorial Park, the Indooroopilly and St Lucia golf courses, and the city skyline.
As construction progresses, Jardinia will bring 87 new apartments to this leafy riverside suburb, just 6km from Brisbane’s CBD. With the project expected to be completed by late 2026, anticipation is already building, with over 30% of apartments sold prior to the market release.
“We’re seeing a range of buyers – from first-home buyers to families and downsizers – all attracted to the variety of apartment sizes and the community-focused design,” said Richard Lawrence, Director of leading Brisbane project marketer Position Property.
“Buying off the plan now allows savvy purchasers to lock in today’s prices ahead of further home price rises forecast for the next two years,” he said.
Jardinia offers a rare opportunity to secure a high-quality, boutique apartment in one of Brisbane’s finest suburbs. As construction begins, future residents can look forward to enjoying a new standard of living in a vibrant, green community.
